The Rush Cartilage Restoration Research Fellowship started in 2015 with the purpose of furthering our basic science knowledge of cartilage restoration techniques. This opportunity allows other physicians to come to Rush for a year and work in our facilities along with our faculty on clinical and basic science research. The year also allows for clinical shadowing time both in the office and operating room to help fellows understand the clinical implication of their work. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for each year and can be sent at any time. Ideal candidates are familiar with working in a lab or are willing to learn with guidance. While the goal is to finish a thesis project that is the focus of the fellow, there are also opportunities to work on other writing and projects as time allows. Please email [javascript protected email address] for further questions or applications.
